Then, this system automatically collects all the necessary information, such as your name, surname, date of birth, sex, country and place of residence and based on that creates you an account and sets your time zone. You can then determine whether you want the broadcast data about the series to be shown according to your local time or the default server which is the Eastern U.S. time (EST).

Also, TV Know gives you the option to specify how many hours before or after the series are aired you would like to receive the email notifications. You can select any time (on the hour) from twelve hours before to twelve hours after the broadcasting of your favorite show. You can set these options on your profile page under your personal information. There you can also specify whether you want your mail delivered on a daily basis or not, and whether you want to receive e-mails for each series individually, one summed mail which will contain information on all the TV shows you watch that are being aired that day.
