When I was packing for my trip to Argentina, a friend advised me, “Put everything you’re taking on the bed. Now put back half the clothes, and take twice the money.” Good advice. I tried to follow it and still ended up bringing more clothes than I could possibly need. I didn’t bring much money, though, because one of my goals for this trip is to keep saving even while I’m traveling

Oh, those are some eccentric places! I know I'd like to be able to spend at least a night in some of the hotels you presented. The Ex Russian prison sounds like an experience everyone should have as it's quite weird to sleep on bare wood and in a small room with rock walls. It's not for people that can't suffer the humidity, that's for sure. And the social experiment is worth trying especially for teenagers. As for the New York Library Hotel, I'd move there and never leave that place!

I was wondering if I can find any strange / interesting / out of the ordinary hotel among the Anaheim hotels. I will be there for one week visiting some friends and I would much like to combine my stay with an unique accommodation.

Agreed! Very cool. I'd love to stay at the zero star one. Might be interesting, and definitely in jail. But the air plane one… I don't think so. I would just lay there thinking, man, this could be my private jet and I could be up in the air right now sipping champagne.

lol, i live in Latvia and i have been in Karostas prison. it’s really really cool and really scary but also funny. the best is when you’re in big group and need to do things in comands or sing some songs while moving in a small chamber.
