i dont really get the one from nine inch nails either, but tool and aphex twin, well it just basically fits in their style and a lot of their fans love these video’s. i personally find them intruiging and they fit perfectly well with the music. whats wrong with some originality? they obviously dont make music for the masses.
it kinda bugs me that you dont do your homework some better though; aphex twin is 1 guy, read more in the comments of your own column about weird album covers >.<

people always just think aphex twin is just that one kind of music because of come to daddy but they do ambient music aswell if you listen to songs like polynomial-c or pulsewidth you will see this or hear this i should say instead of being like every other narrowminded shit

The stop motion Alien is the ego, the understanding / knowledge (spheres) kill it and the man dissects his ego to truly understand the “self”. 

In the final minute of the video, he experiences rapture (enlightenment, or whatever). Some amazing artwork from Alex Grey there…
