What the hell. tommy cooper was an extremely genrous and kind man as well as being one of britains most influential comedians. the whole tea bag thing is a joke. he would pay the taxi driver the cost of the fare and then pretend to give him a tip (giving tips isn't really that customary in the uk anyway.)

next time do more research!

Interesting, just one thing… Hating older people much? What if he was 73? I'm far from being that age but not all older people are fragile and “useless” you know.
If you are into that kind of business there's a very real chance that something like that happens at any point of your career.
And yes, I agree it sounds like you enjoyed their misfortune by the way you refer to them.
On the other side the story has potential, a subject that could be attractive to many people but the approach is no good.

You absolute prick, have you ever seen a tommy cooper sketch? The guy is one of the funniest comedians of the last century. I hope the author feels happy gloating about the death of a comedian who he has only heard of from reading his wikipedia page.
