Dude, Rafflesia Arnoldii is NOT IN MALAYSIA. It can only be found in Indonesia, in the Sumatra and Borneo islands. It got the name from Thomas Raffles (and his buddy Joseph Arnold), one of the officers that was appointed Liutenant Governor when Indonesia (Java) was under the British invasion.

please make sure that your infos are correct before you publish them, will you? If I can find in in wikipedia, so can you. It's THAT easy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rafflesia_arnoldii

and dude, Durians are reeeally tasty. Especially Thai durians, they have tiny seeds and very thick fruit flesh and they taste sweeter than other kinds of durians, too. I agree with you though, if you eat them, your fingers could smell like durians for 2 days, but there are ways to get rid of the smell. and the smell's totally worth the taste.

Quote from same wiki page: “The largest recorded flower was measured at 1.04 metres on February 11, 2010, in Malaysia on the edge of the Cameron Highlands.” The person who wrote that wiki article wrote “metres”. You believe to wiki 100%? Maybe you should think twice…

euphoriajoca: yup Malaysia has also Rafflesia Arnoldii but mostly in Indonesia ( Sumatra & Kalimantan ) & Titan Arum can find in many botanical gardens in the world but it grows in the wild only in Sumatra…

“Metre” is also correct, it is mostly used in countries outside of the United States.

I purposely avoided the rat eating plant since it doesn't really eat rats.
